Here are a few Trio Apaches publicity shots by the brilliant Patrick Allen.
They were taken on a criminally cold November morning in 2012 at various locations along the south bank of the River Thames. Despite the weather, Patrick managed to document something thought to have never previously been caught on camera - a smile from Ashley.
We warmed up afterwards with burgers at the Gaucho Grill. Everyone was smiling then.
Now for some pics taken of us rehearsing Shostakovich with O Duo at the 2014 Lincolnshire International Chamber Music Festival. For a breathtakingly articulate interview by Matt and Tom filmed during LICMF 2012, please visit this YouTube link:
Here are a few shots, including a super-cool selfie of the Trio with Willard White and Sally Beamish and an instrument swap between Matt and Tom (best stick to your day-jobs boys), from our recent recording sessions at St. George's Bristol, taken in late 2013 and early 2014.
Watch out for the disc - featuring Sally Beamish's amazing transcription of Debussy's La Mer alongside one of Sally's original works - The Seafarer Trio (with Sir Willard White narrating) - in September 2014. We think it's going to be awesome. We hope you agree.
